If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, and want to help promote increased GHP market penetration, the GHPsRUS Project needs your active participation.
The GHPsRUS Project is a three-year effort to measure the costs and benefits of nationwide geothermal heat pump (GHP) deployment.
There are five ways you can directly participate in the GHPsRUS Project, and support the increased market penetration of GHPs across the United States.
1) Let Your Voice Be Heard.
Data is key. Help us collect data on how the entire GHP industry benefits the U.S. economy in terms of number of jobs provided, geographic coverage, and plans for business expansion.
Data collected will be kept confidential and used only in the aggregate.
Click on the "Click here to start" of the appropriate survey for your company in the flowchart below.
2) Share Borehole Data.
If you have geological data for specific ground loops, e.g., soil and rock types encountered while drilling and at what depths, thermal conductivity, depth to the water table, etc.– please contact Dr. Bill Glassley at geobg@nf.au.dk.
3) Review Preliminary Survey Results.
Preliminary results of the four GHPsRUS Economic Surveys were compiled in January 2012. To review and comment on the document, click here.
4) Be a Draft Report Review Team Member.
If you would like to be part of the Draft Report Review Team and comment on the draft report in late 2012 before its finalization, email us.
5) Help Spread the Word.
Tell everyone you know who is part of the U.S. GHP industry about the GHPsRUS Project and urge them to participate. If you have a website or publish a newsletter, please mention the GHPsRUS Project.
